Berkley Tie-Dye Pink Tomato

$5.00

Who wouldn’t love a tomato with this psychedelic name? This is another cultivar we tried this for the first time last year and absolutely loved. Like the Little Lucky, this one is a multi-color show stopper. The skin is a rich burgundy color, streaked with shimmering green stripes.  The interior is a deep rose color with golden streaks.  The plant is a prolific producer of large, beefsteak style tomatoes.  Last year we tried Berkley Tie-Dye Pink and Cherokee Purple side by side and Berkley Tie-Dye Pink won hands down in terms of outstanding flavor and productivity.

Tomatoes plants MUST be protected from frost.  In Ellensburg, I wait until June 1 to plant out any tomato plants (after hardening them off), and have frost blankets ready if it looks like nighttime temperatures will dip. Berkley Tie-Dye Pink can start producing 68 days after being planted out.
